MEET HAASHOW

Built on ambition.
Rooted in Somalia.

Haashow General Trading Company was established in Mogadishu, Somalia in 2000, with its office in Hawlwadaag district. The company was founded to compete in East Africa, the Gulf States and Asia, and today works across construction and real estate, international trade, logistics, petroleum supply and agriculture.

We have served international clients and UN organisations, including logistics for the World Food Programme since 2007, delivering food and non-food items from overseas to warehouses across Somalia. We are a member of the Somali Chamber of Commerce and a registered civil works contractor with the Ministry of Public Works & Reconstruction.

OUR MISSION

Partners for the long term.

We view ourselves as partners with our clients, employees, community and environment. We aim to be a leading company in the East and Horn of Africa, built on quality goods and services.

◇

CORE VALUES

Respect, teamwork, integrity.

Respect for clients, employees and suppliers, team spirit and integrity guide every contract we take on — honesty matters as much as the bottom line.

WHY HAASHOW

Projects delivered, not promised.

Schedules and budgets are meant to be kept. We self-perform much of our work and stay with clients from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting and through the warranty period.

CONSTRUCTION & REAL ESTATE

Spaces and infrastructure
that serve everyday life.

General contracting, construction management and architectural and surveying services for residential, commercial, institutional and government clients — alongside roads, wells and river embankments. Haashow was the first company to introduce interlock paving on Mogadishu’s roads, now used throughout the city.

IMPORT, EXPORT & PETROLEUM

From local harvests
to wider markets.

We export onions, sesame and livestock to Oman and Yemen, import cement, rice, sugar and cooking oil, and supply fuel to government institutions, hospitals, NGOs and ships at Mogadishu Port.

LOGISTICS & SHIPPING AGENCY

The supplies you need.
Where they need to be.

Sea, air and inland freight (LCL, FCL, break-bulk, Ro-Ro), port handling and chartering, warehousing, export packaging, inventory control and office procurement for institutions and UN agencies.

COMPLETED WORK

Projects we have delivered.

A selection of construction, infrastructure and logistics work carried out by Haashow in Somalia and abroad.

FROM OUR LAND

Growing opportunity,
season after season.

Our farms in Jamaame and Jowhar connect Haashow directly to agricultural production, including rice cultivation in Jowhar. This connection brings our farming and trading activities closer together, from cultivation to market.
